Today, a little girl I give horse-riding lessons to told me she had saved up $8.00 for her own pony. I laughed and thought how cute she was, then realized that was more than I have in my own savings account. FML

The people who are insulting OP for not having money are probably really young and still live at home. I wouldn't waste time arguing with them. Those of us who work for a living and go to school without our parents help, know exactly how it is. Keep up the hard work, OP. :D

Yes I'm in my 30's and have been working since I was 14. I'm in school again to get a 3rd major under my belt. The music major is only paying off well sporadically so I'm back in the school game. Point being, I can stick up for, OP cause we r in the same situation. : p
